Summertime "Plein Air" Camp

Our 10th year offering "en plein air" (outdoor) painting on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Choose between mornings (9:00-noon) or evenings (6:00-8:00 PM) with options to add on time for childcare purposes.<br><br>When the weather permits, we'll meet at neighborhood parks to learn landscape drawing and painting techniques using various art media, such as watercolor, graphite, charcoal, and more (all materials included). If there's inclement weather, we'll meet at our home studio, "The French Flat" in NE Denver.<br><br>Supplies and a light refreshment provided--please let us know what food allergies your child has. <br><br>For each class, there must be a minimum of two students/maximum of eight. Led by local artist and Denver Public School art teacher, Keri Deixler, and for larger classes, we'll include an artist assistant.

Private & Small Group Atelier

75 minutes of focused, private (or small group) art lessons at your home, mine, or at another location (library, Stanley Marketplace, at a park...).<br>We'll focus on basic techniques in drawing, painting, and hand molding. Also available: cursive and literacy tutoring. Please inquire about groups of up to 8 kids in an outdoor Central Park location! Personalized Portrait

I will work through the process with you, starting with a photo that you provide, either a hard copy, text, or email. I begin by sketching, then adding acrylic paint, and finish painting with oil. When I'm close to completing your portrait, I'll send you photo updates, so that you may critique (you know the features of the person in the photo!), until we're both satisfied with the result. You may choose a background and a color palette. Also available in other mediums, and please email keri@thefrenchflat.com to discuss.<br>Pricing reflects one person. Additional charges may apply.
