75 minutes of focused, private (or small group) art lessons at your home, mine, or at another location (library, Stanley Marketplace, at a park...). We'll focus on basic techniques in drawing, painting and hand molding. Also available: cursive and literacy tutoring. Please inquire about groups of up to 8 kids in an outdoor Central Park location! Summertime Outdoor Small Group Art

Our 10th year offering "en plein air" (outdoor) painting, and this year is by appointment only, and date of your choice! If you have a group of kids, please schedule it by signing up here and or emailing keri@thefrenchflat.com. <br>Wednesdays, beginning in late June through July. Choose between mornings (9:00-11:00 a.m.) or evenings (6:00-8:00 p.m.) with options to add on time.<br><br>If the weather permits, we'll learn landscape drawing and painting techniques using various art media, such as watercolor, graphite, charcoal and more (included). <br>We'll meet at our home studio, "The French Flat" in NE Denver and walk down to the greenway to draw, paint and more!<br>Get 4 classes for $150. Sign up with a friend or sibling to get a two-student discount!<br>Supplies and a light refreshment provided. <br>Bring a hat (or wear sunscreen--it cools off after 6:00, insect lotion if needed, and a water bottle. Also, please bring a picnic blanket or a folding chair or beach towel to use on the grass.<br>For each evening, there must be a minimum of two students/maximum of 6<br>Led by instructor, Keri Deixler, who is a Central Park mom, artist, and Denver Public Schools visual arts teacher.

Personalized Portrait

I will work through the process with you, starting with a photo that you provide, either hard copy, text, or email. I begin by sketching, then adding acrylic paint, and finish painting with oil. When I'm close to completing your portrait, I'll send you photo updates, so that you may critique (you know the features of person in photo!), until we're both satisfied with the result. You may choose a background and a color palette. Also available in other mediums, and please email keri@thefrenchflat.com to discuss.<br>Pricing reflects one person.
