The French Flat's name was inspired by a painting excursion mom and daughter, Cathy and Keri, took to France with the Art Students' League of Denver. Cathy has 40 years (!) floral, interior and garden design experience from retail stores with husband, Will. The Kimmals' stylish and award-winning boutiques included full-service florists with French antiques, a tea room that attracted movie stars and Snowbirds in southern AZ with many delighted customers. Their daughter, Keri, helped with the stores, and added art into the mix, offering murals, portraits and custom paintings for many happy customers. The "flat" refers to a smallish Euro-living space...or a matte finish of paint...or a crate of botanical starters.... let us bring a little of this to your life!

 

Now, we offer top-notch art lessons, and French "atelier"-style workshops with artists working as mentors with students in a collaborative environment with quality art supplies. We draw inspiration from old-world to modern masters, using tried and true techniques, and tailoring them to students' preferences.
