Nestled in the enchanting Mill Valley Redwood grove, nature will inspire artists to create their own brand of art. We begin with learning the elements of landscape art with gesture drawings and thumbnail sketches, exploring line, shape, and value. We’ll explore, sketch our surroundings, and learn about horizon (what's not covered by redwood trunks!), texture, and so much more. We'll include a petite picnic (please let us know of any food allergies), and all supplies are included. Of course, outdoor playtime is an absolute must!

We will have a student to teacher ratio of 1:6 to allow for personalized instruction in a safe and welcoming environment. Scholarships available: please email keri@thefrenchflat.com
