Summertime "Plein Air" Camp

Our 10th year offering "en plein air" (outdoor) painting on Tues (ages 10-14), Weds and Thurs (ages 6-12). Either mornings (9:00-noon) or evenings (5:00-7:30 PM).<br><br>We'll meet at our "studio" in Central Park, NE Denver. We combine our back patio garden, our front porch, and our idyllic grassy courtyard (and we're renovating our indoor studio, and use our dining room table as needed). We begin with "thumbnail sketches", learning gesture drawing. <br><br>We'll take a nature walk to learn about landscape art, and return to the studio to make a piece out of graphite, pastels, watercolor, and more (all materials included). <br><br>A light refreshment with lavender lemonade and seasonal fruit are provided. For evening classes, we'll include a child-friendly picnic such as Annie's organic mac n' cheese, & fruit and veggies; we can accommodate any dietary needs. While indoors, we do have two cats and a dog, but will put them upstairs during the lessons.<br><br>Just added t(w)een class for ages 10-14 on Tuesday, 7/21 <br><br>Each class has min of two students/max of eight (with added artists, we'll have extra art assistants). Led by local artist and Denver Public Schools art teacher, Keri Deixler.
